2020 NLC in Salt Lake City, Utah
While we were hopeful for the ability to gather as a community in Salt Lake City, our present reality has led us to cancel the in-person NLC. While we make this decision with disappointment, we know that it is the right thing to do to reinforce our commitment to one another and practice responsible business leadership during this unprecedented global health crisis. Moving to an “Online” National Leadership Offering Instead of holding our NLC as planned, the FBLA-PBL Board of Directors has opted to develop an online event for FBLA (including Middle Level) and PBL. This experience will include a general session with a keynote presenter led by the 2020 officer teams, leadership workshops, competitive events, and the annual election of our national officers. Specific information about deadlines, processes, and logistics will be communicated via email and social media as well as updated in real-time on a designated website to be shared in the weeks ahead. FBLA-PBL National Officer Elections After careful review by a task force and with input from legal counsel and a registered parliamentarian, the Board of Directors has approved a revised process and guidelines for the election of the FBLA and PBL national officers. Information on the election process and deadlines will be made available shortly to state leaders, local advisers, and student members. Will keep all posted. Thanks. Dr. Brooks.
