One of the most essential parts of building a strong chapter involves membership recruitment. It is a challenging task, but can be successfully accomplished through effective recruitment strategies. Here are some ideas for your chapter:

1. Set up an FBLA booth or presentation at freshman orientation / club fairs.

2. Distribute flyers to students and parents during your school open house.

3. Talk to your friends about the benefits of joining FBLA.

4. Hang up poster advertisements in your local community center, school library, or student lounge.

5. Make recruitment into a contest for your members. Remember that FBLA has an official award "Membership Madness" & "Membership Mania" for people who recruit 5-10 new members. That provides incentive for people to recruit.
