Greetings FBLA members, advisers, and officers!
We hope that every chapter is experiencing a smooth, successful start to the year.
Firstly, we would like to thank the advisers and members who were able to attend our FBLA RI Kick Off Meeting in September. We sincerely appreciate the valuable feedback that each chapter contributed to help ensure the success of our state conferences and events.
Our first conference, SFLC, is approaching November 16 at the Harborside. Look for your chapter registration forms (one for your officers and one for the members) on Friday. Fee is same as last year, $12 per person. Continental breakfast/lunch provided. Invited is the new national Eastern Region Vice President! More exciting news to follow.
Furthermore, In regards to NLC (June 29th-July 2nd), it’s never too early or plan for San Antonio and rooms needed. The block request will be due in December before schools leave for the holidays.
Additionally, we have some national opportunities for members to be recognized for their community service, which are attached below:
Community Service Awards: FBLA members may earn recognition for community service. To register students and for the student login, visit fbla.org/CSA.
TomWat: The officers are doing this fundraiser once again this year. Advisers receive the new catalogs in the mail. Please support their efforts to raise funds for your chapter and the state. Many great items for gifts!
Non-Stop November: Non-Stop November begins November 1. Preview the activities and encourage your FBLA members to start planning for American Enterprise Day (November 15) and prematurity awareness (March of Dimes) projects.
