The March of Dimes and CVS Charity Classic Chairmen are looking for volunteers, middle/high school age and up, to help out at the 20th annual CVS Charity Classic, a charitable golf tournament sponsored by CVS Health whose proceeds are donated to New England non-profits every year. March of Dimes is reaching out to FBLA members for this great opportunity. They run hospitality and the standard bearer positions for the event, and the positions are open to all.
Hospitality is or anyone regardless of golf experience, and primarily involves greeting guests, checking passes, providing directions and information, and ensuring that a pleasant and safe environment is maintained throughout the event. Standard bearers are for those who want to get a little closer to the golf action, as they carry the 4' standards (signs) around and update the players score for each hole during a round.
They need volunteers for the event on Sunday, June 24th and Monday, June 25th. Shifts are between 3.5 and 4 hours long, and all hours count towards community service/volunteer hours. The CVS Charity Classic provides the uniform, meals, and two free grounds tickets for the professional golf day.
If you would like to register to be a volunteer (18 and under is free to register), please go the the link below:
