Good morning FBLA members,
I hope your officers were all able to attend our Leadership Day at the Radisson Hotel last Monday. It was a very exciting and informative experience. Among other aspects, guest speakers talked about their experience working in insurance as an actuary, scholarship opportunities, and the 6 Cs essential for a successful college and career experience. Johnson and Wales provided a delectable, complimentary brunch including pastries, eggs, potatoes, bacon, and fruit. On behalf of Rhode Island FBLA, we would like to thank all who attended, including members, advisors, officers, and guest speakers: Thomas Gauthier, Rob Silva, Barbara DiSaia, and keynote speaker Timothy McLaughlin. We also express gratitude towards J&W and the Radisson Hotel for their hospitality. Additionally, as discussed at the conference, applications for state officer positions are now open for various positions, including president. All chapters are encouraged to apply by filling out our application, located on our Officer Resources page. Thank you, and good luck!
